need some help with TS 250 wiring! quick!

well my dad just bought a nice 78 suzuki ts 250. has like 4k original miles on it. rlly clean bike. guy told us all it needs is a bat. for the blinkers and horn to work, so we bought the new 6 volt bat. and still have no lights. the horn works with the bat. hooked up of. i pulled the tank and traced some wires. the wires coming out blinker switch dont go the relay, i cant find them anywere. the wires coming out of the relay, go to the back off the bike, a green ground and a orange power. but the power wire is live all the time. and dosnt flash when you turn the blinker on, the other thing i dont get is that there are 2 rear blinkers and only on wire runing back from the relay, shouldnt there be 2 "circuits" going back there and shouldnt they be tide in with front?

i have the wiring diagram but it looks nothing like the set up on my dads bike. i cant figure it out, and i dont want to hack up the wiring harness since its like new
