I GOT AN IDEA,,, SO I AM RUNNING WITH IT,,, its to hot to ride in the summer here,, unless you could ride inside right? well there is a place to ride inside ,, so i am building an indoor ATC70,, i can't approach the guys till i actually have a trike to ride ,, so here it goes ,,, maybe i can stir up some interest just for a fun time can you imagine 10 guys going at it for 30 laps on one of these????? it should be ready for a test run this weekend!!!

i took a throttle off a CT 70 its a twister with the cable inside the handlebars,, so no visable cable,, i took the brake lever perch off and built a foot brake so no cables off the bars i built a small tucked in little pipe so it would be out of the way and no burns,i sent the axle out to a machine shop and turned it down to 1" so the gokart hubs would slide right on..i will cut keyways when i figure out where the hubs will be , i have to build a seat ,, the stock pan is to wide so off to bobs i go,, motor is all stock 70 cc,, should be a blast to ride,,,,,,,,,,,,

Think those rear tires will give you too much bite in the turns? If you straight grooved the front tire it would look almost identicle to the old Hoosier Tri-Track front made for the trikes.

Forgot to mention, I love it!

well one thing to remember

it's a 70, a little body english goes a long long way.

I can remember wrecking these when I was little, but can't for the life of me figure out how now.

that's a nice looking lil chub right there man.

That is awesome...I'd pay money to be able to race against 10-15 guys with a bunch of 70s setup like that indoors in a big cleared out grocery store building or something, that would be bad ass!

This is awesome. I love it. Post up a few pics of the axle where you had it turned down so if anyone (me) decides to do this I will have good pics to show the mechanist. Looks awesome once again I love it.

I have an indoor cart track that is only 40 miles away. I wonder if they would let you run it "after hours".

I had the same idea for the go kart wheels! The first thing that came to my head when I seen the pics, MARIO KART!:w00t: It reminds me so much of that game on N64. But one question, are you not going to run rear fenders? How come?

KASEY
06-05-2008, 11:58 PM
I AM LOOKING i looked at several mini quad fenders,,, they have to be small to fit the wheel diameter,,, here is the front fender...

scooterroo

KASEY

ok here you go,,,
first i had the axle turned down to 1" then cut the stock spacer slid the hub on made a short spacer so i could use the stock axle nuts and washers,, bolt it all together and put the wheel on,,,, all in all pretty simple,,,

That is so cool. What are you using for the suspension? Forks and shock? Is it a stock 70 frame? Sorry about all of the questions, but I may have missed a build thread somewhere. If not, you should post one up....very nice.

KASEY
