I failed my first written driving test. I was only 14. I took driver's training but Dad still made me drive for a year with him before I could drive alone. That was 38 years ago.

Failed 3 times. Forgot to use turn signals parallel parking. Then failed to stop in a safe manner after he hold me I failed lol. I was pretty pissed but then went to a different place and passed easily.

I had to wait an extra year for mine. My parents said I wasn't responsible enough:wondering . Then I failed it twice ( maybe they were right ) before I passed it . 28 years later I'm taking my son to get his .

I didnt think you had to use them either, but it depends on the place I think. Because the 3rd place i took the test at passed me even though I didnt use them. But I would use them just to be safe. You wont loose anything using them.

Failed the written twice and passed the driving the first time. They had our parallel parking test in their parking lot so i didnt use turn signals

i didn't have to parallel park either, i just had to drive around the block.

i did almost fail the eyesight portion though...they made me put my eyes into this little thing, and I read with the left eye from left to right, and then with the right eye from right to left...the woman said that had never happened before.
