Ls1's are the present and future of high performance V8 engines. I think it's highly unlikely that G.M will ever go with overhead cams like Ford. And can you blame them? Much smaller dimensionally with cam in block. And there isn't an engine that's naturally aspirated and mass produced that generates as much smooth and unrully power as these. Oh, and with only two valves. From the small 4.8 truck engine up to the nasty 500+ H.P. z06 427cid Ls1,:naughty: these are tops in fuel effiency and performance. People call them different names and numbers, but they are all Ls1 architecture. I simply refer to them as, THE BEST!!!!:w00t:

How do you like that line lock? I just helped a bud plumb one in on his Mustang. Looks super nice. Burnout vid please :)
