Honda Recon Golf Cart

1-Are They any good ? 2-Do recommend electric shift, or standard auto shift ? It's for the wife.

You can't go wrong w/ any Honda. I would recommend the foot-shift. The Recon looks like a great little toy.

yeah it's a fun quad especially doing all the wheelies, oh yeah whatever you do don't get electric shift ive heard alot of bad things, but ive never had one problem in one year of hard riding with my regular shift recon. they are super fun, and very reliable, if you want one get it.

actually the electric shift is very reliable. My local dealer said they only had one ever come back broke. I think they are great machines.

i have quite a lot of experience on a recon, awesome trail bike. get the foot shift! around here i have heard nothin but bad about electric shift. if i ever get the money i want to get my girlfriend a recon, a very reliable trail bike. 2 thumbs up! cant go wrong.

Electric shift is just as reliable as foot shift....It just depends on the riders preference. Although ES will give it a true "Cadaliac like" ride. ;)

the foot shift is cheaper and you have less of a chance of something happening to it than the ES
