Okay, so i was going on dirtwheels website and my computer told me i didnt have the disc space. I got the bright idea to go and delete some programs, but by mistake i accidentally deleted my sound card driver and it wont play anything!

My laptop is a toshiba satellite running off windows vista

There should be a CD that came with your lap top when you bought it new that has a copy of all the drivers and stuff on it. If not, look up the model # of your particular laptop and type it in on the Toshiba website under the support section and you should get a list of drivers there too.

Use the disc cleanup tool, defrag the hd, and use a regestry cleaner. I gained almost 50gb by doing thoes.

sounds like you have a virus or two...pm me if you want...i can hook you up with some programs to help out. corporate antivirus programs and such.

if you laptop is running vista...that means it's fairly new...which also means it shouldn't be full yet...it takes a lot to truly fill a drive.

for that matter...if any of you want a better antivirus program, i'll do what I can to hook you up.

You could try restoring it to an earlier date.

I quess, LOL.

Cody2, I am telling you. Run the trend micro, it will help you. Goat is right, you most likely have a virus. I personally hate all "installed" anti virus programs. They are system hogs. If you have a good hardware firewall (router) and don't open retarded crap and run Firefox as your browser you really don't need an anti virus.

well...lol, to be honest I have enough ram in this laptop to run 10 or 12 OS's simultaneously, if I had the processor to back it up.... :(

so I don't really miss the 20 megs the antivirus uses.

but yeah, pm me if you want some cd's with stuff. for the cost of postage and five bucks...you'd be amazed what you can get.
