I bought a new gun Today! Its a Mosin Nagant 91/30.This is the longer version that was widely used as a sniper rifle. It was made in 1942 so it most likely saw some action in WW2. Maybe a Russian got a few Germans with it for us. It came with a box of ammo, bayonet, leather pouch w/ oil, and sling. I paid 125 for it taxes and background check included. The last pic is a few of my other toys.

I had one of those sporterized.I could hit painted bricks at 600 yards off a rest.

I still have 30 rounds loaded with Nosler Balistic Tips.

Thats a nice clean piece, keep it just as is.

I have a similar SKS with wood stock. How and where did you get it to accept the 30 round clip? Mine has the stock 10 round. I was going to convert it to the same stock as your black but decided not to. Sweet guns. I'm trying to find a Draganov sniper rifle but no luck so far. I love the AK's and SKS's they just look sweet to me.

Those and the M44s are so cheap I've been thinking about buying 3-4 of them just to have around as extras. Nice score :)

The SKS came that way. China made them for a few years as sporter versions for the US market. Its not a military SKS like my black one. They have since been banned from what I read.

I have the shorter, attached bayonet version, 100-125 is the going price, pretty cheap ammo, real accurate, and kicks like superfoot wallace. I'd like to get the sniper kit just for fun.

I am trying to talk my cousin into selling me his M44 Mosin Nagant. It is near mint and he only paid 80 for it at a gun show. I offered him 160 and he still said no.

Couldn't help myself. We had a local gun show and it was to nice to pass on. Plus, if things keep going the way they are with Russia these guns my stop getting exported over here. Also, may need them if WW3 flares up soon.
