Need help with polishing

ok i know ive asked this and stuff can some one please send me step by step on how to polish and all the stuff i need please? thanks a bunch tim

sandpaper ....220-600 grit
lube......wd-40
lots of sanding
buff to luster with a buffing wheel

What are you polishing? I normally use 400 grit up to 1500 grit for amazing shine. Then a buffing wheel + compound. Then hit it with some mothers aluminum mag polish. Great stuff

thanks alot guys, gonna polish my levers, some parts of my engine, maybe my triples and front forks.
