how hard would it be to put a tecate engine in a mojave

Depends on if you mean a tecate 3 or 4 wheeler engine.. The mojaves have a really wide carrier and swingarm which means most 2-strokes have to be offset to left a whole bunch for proper chain alignment.. That makes the left side of the bike slightly heavier, but the main problem is that it causes huge interference problems with the kicker... I think a Tecate 4 engine would be a much easier swap as they are wider than the Tecate 3 or KX engines.. A pipe from a tecate 4 should clear the frame with ease and the radiator should be simple to figure out.. I was going to put a KX250 into a mojave once, but I was going to use a tecate 3 swingarm, carrier, and axle to keep the engine centered.... but that created even more issues than I wanted to deal with

james is right, mocat , mojave, tecate hybrid. if i remember correctly they were built with the 86/87 t3 kips motors, before the official production, and release of the t4.

Man I bet those little chassis were squirrley with the T3 motor in there.
