I recomend (chipboard/strandboard0 1/2" plywood for the walls rather than drywall. Overall cost is less- no taping the joints. It paints great and you can screw to it every where.

I have 3 out buildings. One for the horse(used to be my workshop). One for the toys and tractor(enough room to wrench on 1 and park the others). The last one filled with stuff I should throw out or sell.

Here's mine. Still in the "under construction" phase. I have it organized pretty well. I just need to finish painting the walls and add some more lighting.

Here is my (parents) garage. The good thing is my Dad just bought a smaller car so there is more room, now if I could just convince him to park outside (never going to happen though). It is a little larger then a standard 2 stall so there is room on the side for the motorcycles. When I am working on a trike it goes in front of the car then when the trike is done it gets brought back to the shed (or friends garage like 2 of them are now).

I do want to get a tall stool and a small roller seat since my old one broke.

I converted this garage that was built in 1939 to my shop. It is only 20' x 20'
and has a 7' ceiling. Well insulated and easy to keep warm in the winter with my electric heater.

Your garage looks to be bigger then my house!

john

John, My third of the shop is 40 x 50. Not too big really. You know what they say, it's never big enough.

Can't heat it though. We tryed one time..$800 a month (and that was before 9/11)

Here is one of the barns I use on the property. It is full now.The other barn,at some point. The landlord wants me to renovate. So now I have to store some of his crap in here too.Luckly I am down to 11 bikes. But did just get a HUGE Powerwheels Grave Digger. It is the size of a Yamaha Blaster!!! It isnt in these pics.It keeps the bike some what dry.But there is a lot of moisture in the floor.Makes anything polished or chrome go to helll. Better then the 8x10 sheds I use to work outta of....

And the last pic,is of the old Yellar GMC at my brothers barn.I gotta get that thing done or sold!!!
