I thought it would crazy to see the current views from space of the hurricane in Texas. BTW, I hope none of our members or there families are near that area, looks like it's gonna be a terrible ordeal......

Anyhow, my Google Earth Pro got used once and then the free trial ran out but it pissed off tonite's download. After an hour of installing the regular version and uninstalling the "pro" version, it looks like I can't get a current view of that area.

I searched around a bit on Dogpile but couldn't find anything....

Anyone know of a way to see whats going on there using Google Earth? or another type of program?

The news and weather channel have some stuff on TV but does anyone know whats on the net :wondering

yeah you can use just google current satellite images of the are you want. it'll come up...I used to be able to get pictures of my house.

Gustav pounded us...I was standing in a field at one point, and the wind was honestly strong enough to where I had to fight to stand up.
