I have a couple of Ranger builds planned for when I get home. I have a lot of custom work in mind and I would like to share and gain information from some Ranger forums. I have seen several around the internet but I was hoping to get some opinions on which ones would be good to join.

Both have good info, but RPS seems to be geared more towards lowered trucks. www.therangerstation.com is more geared towards lifted trucks and technical info. Ive been goofing around at both sites for 6 years. What year Ranger are you going with? Plans?

Hey man, I forgot you are a Ranger nut as well. I have two biulds in mind. After we do the Cummins swap in my wife's F250 we will have a strong running fuel injected 351 and E4OD. Soooo, I htought it would be perfict for the V8 Ranger I have always wanted to biuld. I have a 94 Ranger body on a two wheel drive frame. I already have running gear out of an early Bronco and I plan to run it on 35's.

The other is a Ranger that belonged to my dad. It is an 88 STX and I ruined it when I got it. So I would like to bring it back to what it use to be.

Nice! Are you going to make it a trail rig? Sounds like TRS would be the best of the two sites. There are many people(site owner included) that have done v8 swaps in lifted and locked Rangers. That site inspired me to do my first v8 swap in an 88 Ranger I had.
RPS inspired me to do the 2.3 Turbo swap into my 'ole 87 Ranger supercab. They are both great sites! Good luck with your project. :beer

Thanks. I am still considering a Cummins 4BT, but that FI 351 in a Ranger just sounds too cool to ignore.

Check out the "V8 Tech" section at RPS. Theres a guy putting a 6.0 Cummins(I think?) in a newer Ranger. Also, a guy putting a stroked 460(stroked to 545) in an 87 Ranger. Deep pockets! shens

Those biulds to take a lot of money. The only reason I can swing these biulds is bacause I already have all the stuff that makes them exspensive

I have not seen either of those sites. Thanks. Post some photographs of that lifted Ranger.

I thought about dropping the 94 and lifting the 88. But the money is not there to drop one. I have everything I need to lift it though. If it was the other way around, I would be dragging frame.
