That's a good looking quad. Should be fast and reliable. I see you're over in Midland, check out www.atvccs.com, look at the race schedule, we're racing west of Fort Worth in three weeks, you could bring your quad out and give it a try. In the B program this past sunday, a guy on a quad just like yours took the overall win.

Good grab. Can't go wrong with the EX, hehe.

2000 model? Stock bore?

Hey thanks, yeah I like it so far, it is pretty fast, feels like it has alot of torque and when you push the gas it goes good. Already blew a fuse, which is already fixed.

I'll be sure to check that site out

Yeah it's a 2000 model, I asked the guy and he said nothing's ever been done to the motor, and tires are almost new, got lots of tread left on them. It has a pro circuit muffler on it, i'm not sure if it's for my quad or not or if it's off of a dirtbike, also I haven't figured out yet if the head pipes are aftermarket but they look stock.

Sweet 400ex used to be kind of the sport class when it first came out. I still love how they ride kind of low.

How will boring it out blow up the motor?

Some of the 440 kits have head gasket issues. Other than that, I know of no common problems the EX has with bores. The 416's and 426's are as reliable as stock, if done competently.
