Yes, I know this is THREE wheeler world, but for those of you who has read about my ATC500R project, you might remember the man I mentioned by the name of Terry Underwood. He came up with the forward kicker on my 500 and has built numerous other vehicles that are just about as nuts as they come!! They do have four wheels, but anyone reading the mad scientist forum will probably appreciate the following pics. Terry has alot of experience with ATC's, and since he has worked on my 500r project, he has got the fire under him again and I believe we might see a really nasty creation come from him in the near future.... and it might be on three wheels!!!! I will definitely keep you posted as he lets me in on his brainstorm!! Please keep in mind these are machines that Terry built a while back in the 90's (except the rhino) and they are not show quailty right now, and I took the pics without them being cleaned from the previous ride, (some has not moved in awhile as well) he would probably be mad if he knew I was showing them off while their still dirty :naughty:

This is a twin cylinder 600cc 88 250r with a automatic trans and a center belt drive!

This is a 400ex with a XR 650R motor and a fabricated elctric start (behind the cylinder)

How about a rhino with a mid-mounted late model 1800cc fuel injected Goldwing motor, and yes the 4wd still operates! Definitely not for the timid!!

If you would like, I might even be able to get a shot of his V-8 250R engine (yes a machined block, with 8 (eight) 250r cylinders (although its not fully completed yet!) or his one-off all aluminum honda pilot with a rotax 650 twin engine! Man has got a serious need for speed, probably like everyone reading this forum and there are plenty of other creations I have not mentioned. I am crossing my fingers and hoping his next deal will be an ATC!!!

That 250R is a nasty looking machine. What is powering that thing????? Never mind.. I just re read it. Is that 2 250R cylinders bored out to 300 each on a custom lower end?

Wow, I had to look at the 250R twice... Going back for a third look. Simply beautiful. But make a cover for that clutch. lol Wouldn't want to see the guy machining himself a new leg.

I think it is a slick rig.I just wish a more modern Quad could have been used instead.

I have a soft spot for the 80's TRX.

I will be getting one of those quads as soon as possible.

This guy does some very clean fab work, fits big motors into some small area's.. The center drive on that TRX is sweet.. If that were run threw a manual transmission it would be sick.. Id realy like to see that v8 250R motor...

Thats a pretty neat idea for the water pump on the r...
whats he got for a rear sprocket? ive used a clutch setup for a snowmobile engine in a blaster chassis and with 1:1 ratio i had a hard time getting it geared low enough. i had a 13 tooth sprocket on the jackshaft and a 70tooth on the axle almost touching the ground
