I would take a old 250R TRX any day over that tank.

I like it. They we're out yet when I got my Raptor and haven't seen one in the woods yet, but they should be really good. The IRS is an interesting idea and may be the way of the future. I rode SmokinWrench's Polaris Outlaw IRS and liked it. There are plenty of situations where the IRS would be a benefit, most of them are in the woods; this quad is not for duners.

I bet they will dominate the GNCC soon. Already won in Baja.

The two biggest things holding me back are the weight and the reviews saying it doesn't want to slide/roost because it hooks up too much.

I love to roost...

James, I'd say they this quad would require a different riding style. You'd have to learn the machine just like you learned to ride trikes; I think this quad would be that different. I guess I rode trikes too long, I still ride my Raptor like a trike when I push it fast. I think you'd be better than good with this quad, I'd probably get one if I had it to do all over again, but I've spent too much on my Raptor to turn back now.

I can see it doing well in the hi speed desert races, but not in GNCC. Tighter turning woods bike would eat it up.

I tried out an outlaw with irs, couldn't whip it at all, hard to slide and terrible on roosts, it didnt seem to want to stay straight in the whoops either, however i bet its nice on trails, the 525s is a bit tippy as well soo..

I don't know what it is. Its like a train wreck. Can't get away from it.

I have my Tecate to dragrace, slide around and go mad on. This I would want for the trails, mud and cabin cruising on weekends.

The flaws are very aparent from all the reviews I've seen. Its no Raptor 700 but it really shouldn't be compared to that class. The dealer has one in stock from what I'm hearing. Hope I get home in time to go sit on it and beg for a test ride.

Whats up with the back tires, there only as wide as the front ones?

I think thats the 23 inch height making them look skinny.

Have to say I think they are wicked looking machines once built up.
