what do you guys think of an lt500 the pric eis right but needs the motor rebuilt so well see how she turns out. what are some of your oppinions

Opinion #1 you need to proof read your typing better!
Opinion #2 crank bearings always go out!
Opinion #3 they needs lots of TLC to keep them rideable!

I know my typing is horrible but damn it is near impossible to read your posts 75% of the time.

If you fix the problem areas on the motor they are fun machines. 89 has less problems than earlier models but still need some help.

crank bearings like to beat up bearing journals in the case...

rebuilding that motor is going to be 1200 +++

i put over 2 grand in new parts into my engine. cases, cylinder. but its been very reliable. costs money but once its done right you'll have no problems.

well i have has a few 87's but never had an 89 i know the 87';s had bad cases but other than that head gaskets and counterbalance rgears suck but other than that i loved the torque.

i just bought an 89 500 last weekend. got a good deal motor is all fresh bored .80 over port polish new clutch new water pump full exhasut. wicked fast need to get beadlocks and new tires for the rear ive spun the tires off the rims twice now. shes got alot of pep. paid $1000 couldnt pass it up
