willthis motor fit in the tecate chasis without a ton of modifications. i dont mond doign a little cuttign and weldign just not too much . i picke dthis up lst night for 400 bucks with title and just need to find me a 86-87 tecate roller or start gstherign parts. anyone done this? what problems willi run into.

What year is it? Is it a 250 or 500? Just from looking at it, I'd say it would fit. It's tough to get into a project like this and not spend a ton of money, unless you cut corners.

Brapp ,I know he is'nt on here much ,but if you could get ahold of Garageboy somehow, he'd be the man to talk too on that.I know with an '84 -'85 tecate frame you'd be doing alot of mod's to fit that monster in the frame.3Razors also has one I believe,wish I could help ya out more,but it's not a honda,LOL..

Sounds like he wants to do an 86-87 frame. It would be alot more work in an 84-85.

cant be much mor ework than the 450 conversion into the 350x? i mean if i have to drop the cradle so be it or even mix brands but i really want to avoid doitng that i may just try and see wher ei get with checkign swingarms and use the kx frame and it is a 93 kx500

Tecate swingarm will bolt into a KX500 frame. Duno about the shock.
