Looking for a new helmet, post up some pics of some good looking helmets dont matter the color but preferably a good helmet, i dont buy cheap helmets seen too many people with concussions, better safe then sorry.

Any recommendations would be good too, i was looking at the 09 fox v3 Latinese

or a shoei v-moto, the thor force carbon is a nice helmet too and price is not an option as long as its under $700

This is the sickest helmet ive ever seen. I have the street version myself. size runs smaller than shoei. It also goes pretty good with Honda colors:lol:

I rock a X-speed dragon helmet... their one of my sponsor house sponsors... through thte sponsor ship I got a sweet deal on it

at first it was tight REALLY TIGHT even though it was my size but after a few rides it fits my head like a glove! (a big one I might add)

I like the looks and it has the ruberized coating and it breaths in air well

That's what I've got! I wanted something sleek, yet something with black and red in it to match my bike...

I love it! :D

I think looks aren't that important, most have descent looks to them. I use a Z1R bought off the shelf for $40:w00t:

You don't necessarily get concussions from bad helmets, you get concussions from hard helmets. A soft helmet shell will shield you from concussions but won't protect you so well from serious head trauma like getting pierced by a footpeg or sharp rock. It all depends on what type of riding and where you ride. Also, practically every helmet out there is DOT certified but that isn't saying much considering the Chinese companies are churning out thousands of helmets with bogus DOT stickers on them. Good thing the DOT does sample testing of helmets they buy off the shelf, but you never know. Go for SNELL certified helmets, they're an independent labratory in the U.S. with much higher standards than DOT.
Me personally, I prefer carbon fiber helmets. They're lighter, have better rigidity, and will hold up better than polycarbonate or fiberglass. I have a FLY Racing Relic series helmet and so does my wife. We love em. Sorry, I'll post pics later.

The Arai VX Pro 3 is an insanely comfortable helmet, i tried on a large and it was pretty comfortable just real tight in the ears, i know m2r's run big though so if i get one i will have to get a bigger size. How well vented are those things?
