I know that you need all kinds of tuning to get a performance increase but is there anyone one here whos can shed some light on making a set of stingers that will atlest keep around the same performance as stock just with a nicer sound. Just looing for something to do to keep occupied in the shed eveynow and then but i dont want to burn up the sled engine(its a 503 bombardier) I also have the stock exhaust just looking for some fun.

The easiest way to do what you want will probably be to cut up the stock exhaust, remove or modify some baffles, then weld it back up. Expansion chambers are not easy to make from scratch.

If you want to read up on some expansion chamber stuff, download a couple manuals and stuff here,
