Man i just got a new shakespeare ugly stik and i'm very disappointed in its quality. i was castin it and the damn thing broke in half when it hit the side of my jon boat. i thought they were made to last. that no break crap is a bunch of trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro. Hey don't nobody get the ugly stiks cuz thats what they are is crap.

man i got one that is 15yrs old and another thats 7 yrs old. no problem with mine lasting

The ugly stick is the best rod out there. You can twist it into a pretzel w/o it breaking :shock: I hope to get mine out this weekend.

Send that damn thing back !!! I have one thats about 5 years old and its the bomb ! I even reeled in a 4'10" sturgeon last month . Everybody out here uses ugly sticks .

I’ve got 3 ugly sticks and have had them for 8 years and no problems. Hello to everyone this is my first post. ATC Crazy finally got me to sign up where really good friends and ride all the time.

I have used ugly sticks for years, and broke a couple but they will always replace them if you break one. I have switched to buying fenwick poles. Much better quality, but you also pay through the nose for them.

Try Cortland, St.Croix, Diamondback, All Star, G.loomis, or some other quality brand not something from a department store!

lol. What do you guys think of Zebco. They used to have really good quality but it kind of seems like thier going downhill a little... Chinese got em' ;)
