I'm in the process of collecting as many coins as I can, but I prefer them in bill form. Depending on whether I convert to pennies, nickels, dimes or quarters, the value of my collection changes slightly. It's a pretty small collection so far, but I'm optimistic.

I was into it at one point...but it cost a lot and I also had other interests so I didnt get into it too much.

Highlights of my collection are a few of those steel pennys, 1896 and 1898 pennys, Silver Certificate (last series that didnt have 'In God We Trust' on the back), uncirculated penny from 1954, and 1-2 mercury dimes.

When I was running a cash register at the store I got to buy all the old coins at face value. I miss that.

I used to collect old coins years ago. I found the old ammo box i keep everything i have in a few months ago. I dont have much anymore but there are alot of half dollars, some steel pennys, some Susan B anthony dollar coins, few late 1800's silver dollars, a joseph w. barr 2.00 bill (kinda uncommon) and some other misc, I would have to go back through it to see what all is in there now, its been so long ago

my mom used to run the suburban federal bank in chicago, and she woud buy all kinds of old us coins, and since it was through a bank a silver dollar well...cost only a dollar. I have a saftey deposite box thats weighs at least 200lbs full of rare coins mostly all silver or gold. I neather plan on getting rid of them or showing them.

the only other coins I collect I put into use daily
