the auction said that you had a week to pay...

that pipe has already been "almost" bought many times by many people before I finally bought it.

He who pony's up laughs the last. He who says "he was going to buy" obviously didn't want it that bad.

Yeah, that was a joke, hence the little J/K at the end. I've seen alot of people on here get riled up about these things.shens

I'm betting that even if you had the 180$, Mikey would be hesitant.....

He may call me a "parts hoarder" but every time I talk to him, another shipment is is his hairy arse palms....

I like this pipe, it looks FATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!! :D

It's not the first pipe like that and I'm sure it won't be the last.

Just out of curiosity are you guys just wanting that for vintage appeal or is it that good? I'd just get a chrome ESR pipe, they are still available. I put one on my bike and its great power compared to the FMF that was on there.

For me, if its ANSWER its old school appeal, Bassani and its performance

I think it's all about TRYING whats out there....

I'm like Mike, put up ANY old school item with a BIN and I'll probably buy it just to see whats different about it, because it's rare, see what I can learn or copy from it and simply because old rare parts are few and far between and fun to talk about :D

Sometimes we get ripped off, sometimes we get junk and sometimes we hit paydirt in a big way....

I sell nearly NOTHING!! and if I sell it, it's either not in the best of shape that I'd like or it's something I simply do not need or plan to use in the future.

I'm very happy having shelves stocked with parts I MIGHT use someday or stuff I can pull down and just smile knowing that I have it!

Yeah I almost hit the BIN on that pipe too, but got a few other priorities first.

Sectional pipes are conversation pieces, to me. Braggin rights...

I was going to buy it for looks.. Im not that guy that needs to have the fastest bike that loks the best, but i do like old school parts for the sake of old school.. hell ive already got the fastest bike in my riding group, and probly in my area but thats just cause everyone is abunch of pansys and has to have 4by4s with cvt.... and i still have to wait for them at the mud holes cause there so damn heavy they get stuck..
