This weekend I will be buying an '85 Honda 350x, and would like to catch up with some other trike riders to find out where to ride in Georgia. I live about 25 miles north of Atlanta. Anybody out there?

Ilive north of Charlotte, NC and have 2 85 350X's. The only riding spot I have located so far is the ORV trails run by the Ranger Service on highway 181 north of Morganton, NC in the Appalachan mountains. I am going up this Friday so I will report back. See my post in the riding forum.

Did you have a 350X a long time ago? I did and I just got back into it and have had my two for a short while.

Nope, never had a 350x or any other trike before, though I have wanted one since '86. Can't wait to get it. Let me know what the trails are like!

Hey, I'm from GA, but right now I'm stationed in Wyoming. Where exactly are you at in GA. I'm from Warner Robins. Its near Macon, Perry, Hawkinsville. There are places all over all of these places. You might wanna look them up. Well, get back to me.

Check out Rocky Creek ATV trail. It is close to Macon, GA. They have a web site. Just search under the name. They have rides once a month. We used to go there a lot when I lived in Auburn.

Some of my friends plan on borrowing 2 of my 350x's and going to Rocky Creek in August. I can't go will be on vacation. If you see a 85 and 86 350x out there go talk to those guys and you can prolly hook up and ride w/ them.

I live in Warner Robins. I have a 1984 honda 200s. I need to do some maintenance on it, but I have to save some money. It just needs minor things like brakes, tires, and bearings. I have heard of some places down here. I haven't checked them out yet though. I am actually from the Dallas/Hiram/Acworth area. Kind of close to Alpharetta/Marietta. There is one place around Dallas that I know of. Where exactly is Rocky Creek?

I live in Alabama, but would be interested in hooking up for a ride in GA. Let me know when you guys get something in concrete. Right now, I am stripped down and looking for a powdercoater in or around Birmingham, but should be back in busioness by the end of the month.

Thanks

I'm real close to the GA line in Florida (About 30-45minutes to Valdosta) if you guys get something setup kinda close I'd see if I could get a machine running good enough to go, hehe.

I live in Montgomery, AL. I am up for a ride, have a 350x and a yamaha warrior. Would be willing to do a little traveling if we could get something concrete. Just keep this post going and see what happens and when we can all head somewhere to do a little riding.......

reese, and others, there is a new private ride area opened up in Lexington ,Ga. just north of Athens. It is called REC time outdoors, 1100 ac. for atvs and dirtbikes. They are having a big ride this w/e and I'm sure that would be glad to have ya'll. Their website is www.rectimeoutdoors.com They are advertising it as the TT100 (Trash Talking 100) . We ride atvs but I have a YT125 we have had for yrs and am considering a restoration on it.

whats up fellas? Man I want to ride bad but the little 200x is down I need a carb, the ytm 200 isnt fun to ride as it has no suspesion, the 350x isnt fit to ride (want to buy a 85or 86 350x or 86 250r) the TT500 I bought keeps flooding out and the other TT is a parts bike so Im just down and out for lack of funds If I ever get this 78 TT sold and the 76 parts bike Ill be as good as gold then I could buy a carb for the lil x and possibly buy a 250r or 350x

I did however ride the lilx this eve. its spitting and sputtering under power
I did have a problem with the main jet unscrewing (vibrating loose) but the whole carb is frankensteined with wood screws and permatex from the previous owner and I dont have the $150.00 for a new carbureator.
Im supposed to get a promotion at work and it should be in by my next check (thursday) so we will see.

reece,
I'm from cumming but i moved to oklahoma last year. I wanted to tell you that some of the best riding in the state is just north of you just head up to Dawsonville or Dahlonega or even further north. there are places to ride all over. Steer clear of Dawson forrest the game warden doesnt allow motorized vehichles on the trails anymore but there are plenty of places to ride. Check out the Chattahoochee national forrest info center in the wallmart parking lot in Dahlonega for maps and ask around.
