I'm leaving work or I'd look. Try autokrafters. If not I'll think of more places to look.

Most junkyards have miles of fords laying around, could probably get some cheap parts there.

The hydraulic assist on the front axle right? Those are expensive to rebuild. You may be better off getting a custom one made/ordered. I'm sure it's covered on pirate4x4.com

I just found a site that has them for like 300 with a 150 dollar core charge on it on top of that. Ill probably have to wait till spring just gotta keep the pump full. The worst part is we need this truck to plow my driveway because the new f250 we have wont plow for trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro. Of course the 73 was rebuilt from the frame up just to plow by my girls grandpa. He put a 390 in it outta an old cop car. it had one rust hole in the frame so he plated the whole thing. He put a real nice 78 cab on it and made the bumpers out of heavy steel plate. It even has a bed made outta 1/4 plate of steel. My father in laws f350 4x4 dump truck couldnt plow up my hill so, Don ( grandpa) pushed his snow bank and the rest of the hill all the way up and across the road. The last storm don is out there trying to plow with the new truck for the first time and was mad because it sucked, so I was like the snow must be heavy because its giving me trouble with black, Yes he named the 73. Then he looked at my rear tires and said I think your in 2 wheel drive your fronts aint pullin.:banned: I couldnt believe i was plowing better in 2 wheel than the new one in 4 wheel. The truck is a BEAST.
