I Am Looking To Buy A Warrior That Is Broke Down. The Guy Said It Needs A Starter Clutch. I Have A Whole Tub Of Internal Motor Parts Off A Warrior. Do I Have A Starter Clutch? Help Asap Please. He Is Selling This 01 Warrior Cheap!

im not sure this has a starter clutch. they were known for killing starters and ring gears.. the starter one way clutch that was on the raptor was a one war bearing that attached to the flywheel. it free wheels when running but engages when cranking slow. hope this helps...

Habitually it's the part #6 and #9 that need to be changed...

A lot of people call that the starter clutch or one way starter clutch. The 660 raptor is known for this problem as well. I got one for a 03 660 Raptor for $150 on ebay with a lifetime warranty. They are not that dificult to put in. Set aside a couple of hours.

i know man, just saying what it is.

alot of car tranny have them

a sprag is a one way clutch type bearing.....they have many names but they all are sprags

Your starter will just spin and not turn the motor over. The Raptors I have had with this problem will eventually start grabbing if you play with them a while.
