That's right folks, tonight a little after 10pm eastern the trike should be sold. I know of 2 bidders that have both told me they will bid higher, I just had to answer some Q's for them. The bid has been sitting at $1,825 for 2 days now, so we'll see how the last few hours go.

Only 10 hours left!

BTW, if you want any of the spare parts seen in the pics, let me know via PM. I have sold some of them but others are still available.

Congrats! You're rapidly approaching 86 MSRP which i believe was probably somewhere between 2500-3000.

Thanks Jeb. I am hoping to get the Buy-It-Now price of $2,800 out of it, even though that will still be giving me a fairly healthy loss in money, but it was fun to build and fun to ride, so I guess losing some money is OK.

Unbelievable. I guess I figured more people would be willing to buy this machine. $2,200 is a joke to me, not even enough to pay of what I put in it since January. I almost hope the dude doesn't come through...

You should put a higher reserve on it if you have that much invested in it..

(I am hoping to get the Buy-It-Now price of $2,800 out of it,)

Why did you make it so low (NFI what they are worth)?

You could tell him it was stolen, but thats a low act.

No, I'm a good guy, I would never take advantage of someone like that. Bottom line, I didn't put a higher reserve on it because I thought people would naturally raise the bid out of interest in the bike. It doesn't matter now, because the price you pay and receive is what a hobby is NOT all about. It merely facilitates the continuation of the hobby. All of the monies spent on the trike were sunken costs, so I sit with $2200 in my pocket now.

I don't know if I would have been able to get more with a higher reserve, because the buyer told me that his max bid was $2200 and he wasn't going higher.

Man, I'm over $2500.00 into my project bike, But I'm going to keep it for a long time, but on a couple 200x's I built I lost my arse on them. but like you said its the fun factor of building them! On to the next one!
