Ya, I wanted my own on it.
I put alot of time and money in that build.
And I also plan on building another one similar to it with a bunch of upgrades.

Is it going to have front brakes?

I have the plans on building the 2009 Version, name to be determined. Hopefully between Edog and Mgenest along with the whole 3WW group we can make this happen.
Edog,
I have questions on the rolling frame and how it was constructed. The front forks I recall reading are off a 200s, I know I read somewhere what the the whole wheel and axle assembly is from but did you have issues with mounting the axle to the 200s forks? The brake I would have to guess involved welding a bracket to hold the caliper. Did the front fender mount with no major issues? I was going to try and create a mount for the original US90 fender to give it a US90 look.
I do have to say you did a nice job on this build and the final trike came out nice. Now I am going to have to get some pictures of my build, there is not much going on now, just waiting for parts.

Just read the post from Blown 331 and now I see the trike does not have front brakes. I do not think these need front brakes, just takes away from the look of it.
Is it going to have front brakes?
Yes.... Front and rear 200X brake calipers.

I wanted to do it. I was going to...but I said the same thing.
It was to be a mix of old and new.

It was a 1985 200S front fork and axle. The hub and rim and tire were from a 1985 200X.

I had to make 4 aluminum brackets to make the 1985 250R front fender fit.

Thanks for including the front fork and wheel assembly pictures. I can't wait to get mine started. Did you use a stock atc90 axle? I am debating on going with 18 inch or 20 inch, 22 inch seems too large. The front fender gives it an awesome look, I just may go with that fender over a stock US90 one.
I will be building another GPX build next in December or sooner.
It will have a 200cc GPX motor. This will have alot of custom parts. Including a custom frame. Fully suspended, it will be the size of a 200X but a beefier frame.

Why you waiting until December to begin? The 200cc will be a vertical top end or a vertical top end? Can't wait to see the build.
yea im pretty sure all of 3ww will be holding their collective breath for that one.....

I am working on my 350X rite now.
It will be a lay down motor. The GPX doesn't come in a vertical motor.

I cannot find a 200cc that is a laydown. All the 200cc I find from GPX are traditional 200cc and larger engines that have the top end upward. I was thinking it was like a pit bike motor as you have a 177cc that is that type.

The front hub wheel assembly. What is the correct front wheel and hub to get. I have heard some need the axle modified and while others don't. I know I will need to make spacers to correctly space the hub. I know there are 3 main trikes, 200x, 250r and 350x. Will all the hubs with axles fit with minor modifications?
I will be updating my build posts today, I have added a seat, 6 pack rack, different front wheel for better handling when I need a ride, and I have an oil cooler that just needs mounting.
What is the correct front wheel and hub to get. .
Are you referring to the 1985 200S front fork?

Currently I am planning on using 1985 200s forks. It all depends on what I get first. Is there a major difference between 1984 forks over 1985? Is the hub difference between 1984 and 1986 front hubs and wheels, 200x to 350x, on the larger trikes.

This trike is for sale again! Also the only way to get a laydown 200x is to make one, or have one made. Or two made for that matter!

This is about the thrid time I list this bike. Don't get me wrong, I do like it alot but just prefer riding the stock 110 I have. It is more enjoyable for my type o f riding. My daughter usually rides in the front of me. Makes it easy with no clutch and the big ballon tires. I enjoyed finishing this build and could not pass up the deal on the frame I got. The bike is fun to ride and definaltey a conversation piece. I am looking for another 110 or 125 that is close to mint to trade if anyone has one let me know.
