These auctions ended last night - I was watching them all (not bidding this time :D) and I can post up some links if anyone wants to see them....

IDK if you guys all saw the stuff, but someone had stored away an NOS 86 200X motor, forks, footpegs and a complete bolt on rear end and the stuff brought in SUBSTANTIAL COIN!! even in this economy.

I imagine some collectors grabbed them up but because Ebay hides the winners actual user name, I was curious if any of you guys bid or had won...

My biggest question is where the hell did the motor go?? It was only at 450$ with 9 hours to go but I felt someone would bid big on that item as I've NEVER seen a 86/87 200X crate motor before. Anyhow, the auction disappeared completely..... I guess someone made an offer they couldn't refuse but I wondered how high it got before it went away?? Was anyone watching it in real time besides myself and Seabass??

I was willing to bet it would fetch anywhere from 1000 to 1500$.....

DC, looks like the motor went to $555.98 and didn't meet reserve. Item #120357704146

If you got it, then I'm PSYCHED for you :Bounce :w00t:

Just don't EVER show your mo fo face in my yard AGAIN  J/K

 How could I buy another one?? I've got 8 of these motors now.... Would have been great but I need a stroker motor for one of these 200X's.

I'm betting you offered 750$ and he took it, that is if you got it... I cannot believe it didn't snatch over a grand. :wondering

The one I pulled from my 86 ran mint and I wouldn't have sold that one for 700$ so gives you an idea of how lucky someone were to be if they got that motor for cheap.

Stock or not, I'd still throw a 28MM Mikuni flatside on there :D

DC, How many complete '86-'87 200x's do you have? And how many more can you build with the parts you have?:w00t:

Aside from plastic I could assemble 2 like the one I built and a couple more with odds and ends. I think I only have 3 frames though....

I just don't have the room for them so they stay apart.

I'd like to put together another real nice one but with even more mods than the one I have now :D

Do you have a picture of the one with all the mods?

Saw the auctions, didn't bid on anything.
Just as Dirtface pointed out, the engine didn't meet reserve, not saying someone didn't get it after the fact. I had it in my watched items.
