Ive decided to sell my project truck. Im trying to figure out a good price to ask for it. It has a 1 ton rear end. Here is a link where it is posted with pics.

ya, I cant see it fetching more than 800 with the economy in the crapper, but you never know, the suspenion kit alone was probably a few grand.

I'll shoot you straight. To real world enthusiast your project is not worth much. Don’t get me wrong, I like the 80’s style Bronco. I have plans for a build myself. But the mis-matched running and other issues it has makes it less appealing. Plus, the lift is not all that big. Six inches is nothing now-a-days. From my experience, when I see a one ton rear end matched with a ½ ton TTB front end I know the previous owner either did not know enough or want to spend enough to do it right. You might get some one who knows nothing about this sort of thing, but do not expect real off road or Bronco enthusiast to give you anything over scrap prices. These are the kind of “builds” we make fun of.

P.S.
I am not trying to be a prick, I am just being honest.

Anything over $300 is going to be a bit generous I think.

It might be better to part it out.

The problem there is he will be left with a carcass and misc. parts.

I can't see the pics because craigslist is blocked at work but I had a 1993 Bronco, ok shape, nice interior, XLT. I had a 302 HO from a Mustang in it with a rebuilt E4OD trans and I sold it in 2004 for $600 bucks. I was trying to sell it for about 6 months, thats the best I could do.

i think the $600-700 is a tad high but you never know

Please don't scrap it. I woish I could drive out there and take it off your hands. I want one ofr a project I have planned. But it is not worth the fule it would take for me to even leave my state let alone drive all the way out there.

I drive a '94 bronco with a 351. I've had it and drove it for over 10 years now. I am glad that gas prices went down cuz it was killing me. It's a good truck but not worth much now. I think that I've gotten my moneys worth from it. Lol

That is a good engine. My wife has a 96 F250 with a FI 351. It has well over 200,000 on the clock and still runs strong with good compression.

I'll agree with the above... $500-800 or so.

You have to remember that most people are affraid of other people's projects... unless they're done!

I'm not sayin I would pay that. I was more thinkin of offloading it on some craigslist bozo. I'd take it for free and drop it right off at the scrapyard.

dont kill it, if the body is in good shape, its worth something. even if you off it for 300 bucks, thats more than scrap right now, and you save a truck.
