Took the family up to Devil's Lake in Mi. yesterday to check out some ice racing. As i am riding along I spot a group of trikes. To my surprise I recognize the machines:lol: Then I realized that I didn't have my camera. When Roger told me that the trikes were going to have their own class to race I was stoked enough to ride back across the miles of slush to get my camera. The ice condition sucked, it had gotten way to warm. I was actually scared riding back after we watched the races, because a lot had melted and it was very slushy. One time the rear of my bike dropped down deeper into the slush for about 50 ft. and I was real nervous. Only my second time on the ice so maybe I was nervous for nothing I don't know. I do know I was real happy to get back to the beach on the other side:lol: Here is some pics.:w00t:

This next one was pretty funny because Roger kicked it forever. Then he realized that his tether cord worked:lol:

Now for some racing pics. We didn't stay for the whole event so I only saw the first heat. we were all cold and wet from the slush and decided to leave early. I am glad we did because ice conditions were getting bad fast and the ride back felt unsafe to me.

I am not sure what the #63's name is. I think that he was with roger (sandpuppy) and his brother. I do know that his trike was Derricks 450 and that he bought it from him. He kicked butt in the first race taking first place. I am planning on racing this event next year. I will put out the word next year when it's coming up so we can get more trikes there.

Yeah you can see the water in the pic's but that does'nt do it justice ,in the 2nd heat I got 4 or 5 lap's and I was about done.I was so soaked and dodging waterhole's that I just put it in cruise mode anddsettled with a 3rd.

Raffa that's the Custom that Mr Adam's and Hall built,my buddy Sam has it .You know Derrick he'll be building something even more sick than that build.Anyway's Sam did good with 2 1st in both heat's.C J another bud had the #22 '85 R ,he was a good rider too.http://i362.photobucket.com/albums/oo64/sandpuppi101/100_7762.jpg

I ain't complaining about nothing it was good to get out and battle it out with some other trike's and at least let our presense be known.I hope to see more trike's than that up at OTTER LAKE which was post poned till the 21st( had to throw a plug in there).
I have some more pic's i'll post up later,but here's a few I got.
