How fast is the BlasterNinja?

The Goat

I'd imagine on the road it's fast enough to make your eyes water and something clench up.

nice find syko.

well I know I got it up to around 90 so far... and thats stupid on that thing! no back brakes and barely their front plust the dry rotted tires were singing so bad I thought for sure they were going to pop!

It has potential.... but not in a blaster frame!! lol its very cobled together, even though it runs well and hauls ass like nothing else..... its a bit embarasing to say the least lol

Talked it over with billy and im going to set it up for sand drag/ hill shooter more or less for fun and shyts and giggles... The motor runs great and dosnt make any abnormal noises or anything that worries me.... what does worrie me is the AWESOME welding that was done on it! oh my! (I will post pics later)

I been wanting an r6 in a rappy for a while....

SYKO
03-05-2009, 12:28 AM
dude..... the wheelbase for a blaster is GREAT as long as it has a blaster motor in it.... this is not safe to ride... needless to say even though I like to go stupid fast... I dont want to continue doing it on this... kinda like puting a jet engine on a ultralight.... kinda good idea...... poor execution......possible death.

here are a few pics of the awesome welding that was performed on this beast!

it has the potential to get the motor cut back out and the rest chunked onto my scrap metal trailer!:naughty:

NO seriously im not keeping this thing like this....

edit: well I went outside and did a bunch of measuring and it looks like I can make it fit the tri-z chassis fairly easily so that should get things going....im thinking this is going to be saturday nights project untill I hit the club!

Now you have a good excuse to use that rear Tri-Z racing plastic I gave you.

Hey man, please do not go hacking that perfect Z frame I gave you. I have a one or two that would be a much better choice becuase they need work any way. I'll have Melissa bring it to you on one of her trips.

By the way, that is a damn fine looking Warrior.

SYKO
03-08-2009, 11:46 AM
MAN you better hurry up then! becouse im ready to HACK! oh BTW I will email you some stuff later I know melisa has filled you in some....

yea im looking for a set of warrior rear plastic super cheap becouse it has a battery tray built in so I can put the ninja battery in it.

yea the warrior is super nice in fact it runs so damn good its nuts!

Not really. She said she was going to call you. Other than that, I do not know.

Be patient, once you cut that frame that is one less Z in the world. It cannot be returned to a Z so just chill unilt I can get you one of the other ones.

LonesomeTriZ

I cannot remember the details on them. I know one frame I have have a cut and PlayDo welded neck. But that is the one I am using with my drag engine. If, I can ever go home.

OH GD! cry me a riva! lol its still partly a Z its still a trike, its stupid as hell.... hey there is one less blaster in the world becouse of this plus one less ninja as well... its like the holocost up in here!

any way I need some stuff guys.... any one have two street bike mufflers? stock is fine and does anyone have like....6 ft of 520 chain? lol

SYKO
03-11-2009, 10:20 PM
well I had a few minutes to play tonight before writing insurance files so I got busy with the cutoff wheel and grinder to make the engine fit the frame better.

Then with cardboard and tape kinda mocked up the reinforcement and kinda how it will look when welded in, the right side will still be removable (so the engine can be removed) so that side will prove to be more difficult to finish up, but im confident I can do it.

Hell if it stayed in a blaster frame with those BOOGER welds then I know for sure it will stay in the tri-z frame! lol

I also threw on a 450R foot peg to see how it will look and I like it

you can also see there is plenty of room to service the engine and work on the carbs if needed plus room for some direct fit UNI filters to chill on the carbs.

SYKO
03-13-2009, 07:41 PM
well just went outside for a minute to clear my head.... so I stuck the two "mufflers" that I cut off together under the middle how I would like to rought the pipes and silencers and realized that whatever silencer I plan on using needs to be really small........so I guess I need to find some measurments of some silencers before I buy something for sure now. I guess I could go with what they had wich was basicaly a blown out shorty vehicle glass pack I will post a pic later of what im talking about.

Or I could just have ONE single silencer in the middle but then I think it will just be to big any way (trying to acheive a nice looking machine when done)

any way guys give me some input on what I should do (after I post pics)

What's the story on the pro-wedge tires? I've never ran them, or for that matter even been around them. I assume they tend to grow at high rpm's? What's better about them than some Skat Trak's (price maybe)?

Interesting build. I'm getting another Ban-Z roller, so I've been kicking around the R1 engine for my other Z roller again...TR1-Z

well just like my 500...since im laid off Im trying to make the smallest impact avail and not going any where and wasting any money on anything so... ive been plugging away on the ninja-Z trying to get most of the frame tacked together so I can finish weld when I get some argon... this is what little progress I got so far.

the right side of the engine cradle is removable just like it was in the bike

I also managed to use the stock Z radiators wich will greatly improve my idead of cooling as I was going to go with a tecate style rad on the front... I like this better, the shroud is way off and I need opinions wether to make them work or make some new ones that look simaliar?

well needed to kill some time so... I wanted to build a extended swinger for the Z

first off I decided to use a blaster swinger and rear end.. not only does it fit but its easier to work with and narrower then the Z setup...

well... apparently no one has ever taken this rear end apart... plus some wounderfull cousin lovin redneck decided some old honda 3 bolt hubs would be great hammered onto the axle..... took me like an hour to tear apart the rear but I got it...with my ghetto... porta power lol:lol:

http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e306/southgacustoms/atv%20builds/1651.jpg

welll I know I dont have all the fancySmancy stuff to make swingers... but I know how to measure cut and weld.. so what else you need?!:naughty:

I have some heavy thick wall 1 1/2 tubbing and decided that would look cool as hell with a round swinger so .... round it is!:p

http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e306/southgacustoms/atv%20builds/1649.jpg

oh also if you didnt know the blaster swinger is about 1 3/4 inches shorter then the Z swinger... so I added 13 inches to it for close to a 12 over Z swinger total... yay!

so here it is mocked up on the Z

now mind you everything isnt finished welded on the swinger or the chassis, and everything is loose as hell so nothing is square looking in the pics but I assure you they are.

also there is no linkage anymore and I will be using a utility quad shock for the rear shock for my wieght the motors weight and the long swinger... I still have to build the shock mount yet so..... still more to come!

I have a shock off a Yamaha 1000 I think you might be more happy with then a utility shock, its yours if you want it.

thats cool man im not prepared to pay shipping on that one! lol! this shock will work fine with the added weight and the lenght of the swinger the shock should be just right, plus this shock is the lenght of many shocks so if it dosnt work I can always get another one that may work better. Thanx for the offer though!

SYKO
07-01-2009, 10:50 AM
NICE.... but I hardly think that is stronger then mine when I mean thick wall I MEAN THICK WALL 3/16 thick! plus mine looks better... jus curious... how much? and do you happen to have a six pak rack for a blaster? and I just got of the phone with your lady... she dont talk to me as much anymore since you got home...lol

you dont happen to have a blaster rear caliper or a triz caliper do you? i prefer a tri- z caliper this thing is only going to have rear brakes with just a brake lever on the bars

If you want it shoot me a PM with an offer. I was going to try and get $50 for it on ebay.

Yes, I have plenty of rear brake stuff for that Z.

first question are the pipes comeing off the front of the motor, going to hit the front tire when compressed? how close does it come to the frame now?

SYKO
07-01-2009, 06:25 PM
no they wont the pipes if you can imagine dont stick out any further then the frame rails, I also plan on running the sand front tire the 22x7x12 so it will be a bit shorter, ive put all my weight into it and the tire gets close but still no contact.

maybe you could use two shocks kind of like they did on old school enduro bikes...that is if you have two that are the same

note to self: do not sit on a unfinished unbraced tube swinger with the motor and my monster self on it combined... needless to say I bent it alittle.... geez.... oh well nothing I cant fix!!

so once again a bit of downtime... so when I had my 500R frame blasted I had the NINJA-Z frame blasted as well so I can weld better on it.

did some finishing welding on it and started adding all the stuff that needs heavy welding on it as well

also got the pipe mocked up and bolted where it will be as well, just plan on rinning a dump out the back for it, it will be a 2 into 1 deal now with no silencer, just got to make my junction,, wich isnt to hard

here it is with the motor back in and as a roller with the pegs also mounted just need to finish up a few things and this one is ready for paint!! also got to unbend my swinger... doh!

That build is coming together good Syko! Looks a little raggedy right now but I'm sure it'll clean up nice.

I'm always amazed at how you guys can take just about any motor and stuff it inside a chassis and it magically works. I wish I had the fabbin' skills like that.

SYKO
10-02-2009, 08:48 AM
yea it does look ragidy, I took it down to my paint shop so I can finish welding the frame up and the exhaust as well, then all I have to do is paint the frame and it will look 100x better, then its onto making all the plastic nice and shinny with custom paint!.

I plan on painting this thing like its going to be in a motorcycle show every day! so its going to have the full airbrush and crazy color scheme all over it!
