Just put a new belt on and lightly lubed the clutches on the brute force WoW what a differance I didn't realize how much better a wider belt would make. Its like taking the 27" tires off and putting on 25" stock ones I am so excited I had to post it :beer

HEY... I have a extra takeoff belt out in the barn. not new and does slip a bit, but handy for a spare. I swap belts every year before TF, take the old 1 as a back up and throw out the previous backup. better that watching at a weekend ride.

lube is bad on these clutches. attracts belt dust.
aftermarket belts are junk also. oem belts are the ticket to these quads..

Ya chris... he was at BRAPPS. He came w/ the freaks! He was a quad guy till he blew that belt and spent the weekend on a autoX. I think he has a few trikes already, and attended raffas ice-fest. A new convert!!

I know I know I know ............ good to grease the shaft on the secondary and I wasn't sure that I didn't have a problem with my clutches so I didn't want to shred a $60 belt ..... Any way it dosen't get used much these days now that i have a snow blower and a pair of X's but it did feal good to take it down the road .... something about a v-twin straight axle to cure those winter blues!!!:Bounce

you can get some good top end from them if you modify the primary sheaves.
when the bf650 came out in 2002 my friend draged me on my modded tri z and we were swapping wins. then i blew it up trying to prove a point..LOL
