I would have to agree ........ hate to offer someone half of the asking price but a hard tail red in that condition seems to sell for 3-4 hundred

I agree with the $400 offer. That is good for both the seller and buyer.

I even have an '83 in nicer shape that I would like to sell and I hope to get $500 for it but might take $450.
