Crazy, All I need is a hydraulic pump that pushes 1000 psi.

Check out this custom DG Tri-zinger pipe

well that's kinda scary, certainly wouldn't be sitting as close as that guy is if I wasn't using water to expand that....

kinda reminds me of when we used to fill the old carbon fiver 5k psi tanks....when one goes off, you never feel the same way again about filling em. lol.

edit:

the hydraulic pic finally loaded on the work comp. not so dangerous afterall. lol.

I think someone posted something about that a while back. Really cool stuff though. Ive hand rolled one before and it sucks, and the hydro formed stuff looks sooo much better.

I've been on that site for a few years.http://www.kawasakitriplesworldwide.com/ A lot of good info on 70's 80's KAW triples and Yam-2 cyl.and Suzi's. Good people too! Rebuilt my bike from that sitehttp://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u104/beets442/6-27-2007-20-1.jpg

Beautiful bike man... I have wanted an rd400, rz 350, suzuki gamma 400, h1, h2, h3 or the like for soo long. I've never come across a deal at the right time.

How does it run?

Runs excellent! Been working on different pipe styles for power ranges and these pipes rock, get lots of midrange and top end.6,500 -9,500 RPM power band. Similar pipes with the larger mids produce alot of top, only good for WOT. Stockers give a good low end to midrange and no top end. Have some old Bassani's going on this summer. Excellent job on those pressure formed pipes. Beets

Guys,

Here's another good article to reference when hydroforming expansion chambers.

http://www.eurospares.com/frame8.htm

In the article, Mr. Moore refers to a pump he used that was made by Perfecto Products. I believe this is the pump used in the article.

I have been practicing my pipe building skills by re-routing pipes for a couple of my projects.. I want to build my own pipe, but I need to find someone with the software to design it
