hmmmm....I like the look of that rear setup. You need more of those linkage type stuffs to put on the shelf? I got this 95 swinger and linkage sitting here and I know I still owe you plenty and it's not getting used here. Lemme know Jason. :-P

How do the square tube frames hold up against the round tube frames? any better or worse?

I'm sure the round tube frame's are stronger because they are Chrome Moly. I don't have the funds to buy a aftermarket frame, so the stocker will work just fine for me. I'll be adding gussots where I feel they are needed. I won't be MX racing this every weekend, just an all around ride.

BGM- The YFZ engine fits great, the mounts were closer than you would think. I could have modded the origional 250 front mount slightly and bolted It on. Its a 05 YFZ with a 06 3mm stroker 470cc.

Itrike, I think your thinking of the 87 I built my boy with the CRF250 engine. That quad Is waiting to be torn down for some paint.

I might be wrong but that looks like an aftermarket frame. Reason why i question it because i see the subframe isnt on there and the footpeg mounting area has like round tubing. Is that for holding/mounting nerf bars??( i have seen aftermarket frames with that) I also thought* replaceable/moveable subframe chassis' was only aftermarket.... I havent studied or researched completely so please fill me in on this.....

It Is a stock frame. I cut the subframe off so I could re-locate the top shock mount. I will make the subframe removable with 4 bolts. Yes the round tube's are the nerf bar mounts., propeg stye nerfs.

I'd imagine that 470 is quicker.... but a completely different animal.

budy of mine bought the se edition one a while back...that thing was NO slouch once he tweaked it a little.
