250 two strokes in the MX lites WOOT!

I just read in my new transworld that the 2009 250cc AMA outdoor will be open to any 250cc bike. Rise of the two strokes. Its gonna be great!!

as it should be... a dirtbike is supposed to be 2-stroke..

How did it read? I heard rumor that this effects the "lites class" and the 2 vs 4 stroke rule wasn't addressed....glitch clause or something to help sales? I don't see any advantage to racing 450's but against 250cc fourstrokes...well now you have a topic of discussion.

250cc, Size of the engine, regardless of design, that will be allowed to compete in the 2009 ama 250cc nationals, We're hoping to see a few more than a few two-strokes in the mix.

I'm worried this news slipped through during edit, because all I can find online is the opposite.
