was looking at my case and seen it looked "worn" where the front engine mount goes. BUT looking at other cases i see the same thing . what causes this ? did they come like this ?

i posted some pictures that show what i am tlaking about. one looks like it was just ground down smooth. thanks for any info on this .

In the second pic you have 2 diffrent years of cases.

HERES A 85 ATC MOTOR,,, the cut out is for clearance for the pipe flange,,, it was made that way not worn,,,

those are not my cases just piks i found for refrence.

i just wanted to make sure it wasnt broke. my case is exactly like KASEY's thanks for the help
