I don't know about a frame but I was going to bubble wrap a tire and wheel from an 85 trx 125 to PA and it was going to cost about $25.00. I was charging only $10.00 for the tire and wheel. I also let the air out of the tire so it wouldn't weigh as much. Didn't help much. lol

Just shipped one last week from MI to GA I believe, $35 usps ground. Two weeks before that I shipped a TRX frame to Texas by Fedex and it was around $160, UPS would have been $170.

NJ Louis.

x.system, $35 isn't that bad...I quoted $25 to my buyer as I remember the last time I sent one thts about what it was...but then I remembered that was back before the big price hikes and trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro, so I was a bit worried.

Once USPS goes from ground to air the cost skyrockets... especially priority

Melt it down into a small piece of square flat stock and ship it flat rate envelope for $5. lmao

In all seriousness I quit shipping frames do to the cost.

USPS if you can keep it under the measurment requirments I think a 250R barely makes it

rougly 40-80 to lower 48

fed ex was over 100
ups was like 150

I'd really like to re-list the ad again, but I dont want to trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro myself over on shipping...what do you guys reccomend I start it at, like $40 or something? I want to keep it low to entice the bidding...but I dont want to shoot myself in the foot neither.

billy take a frame to the usps office and have them qoate a shippin price to washington state somewhere take that and charge a flat rate shipping charge or put it into the actuall price of the frame and say free shippin!

Heres mine from last week, I quoted $50 in the ad but once the auction was over the buyer asked for a total and I was able to get it to him for $35 using these measurments.
47x18x12 USPS ground, bubble wrapped then shrink wrapped, weighed in just under 30 pounds so I used 30 even.

Locations will determine the final cost, I think Cali is the most expensive for me in MI so you may want to try there with my dimensions. Syko is right, the R frame just gets under the 108" price, with my measurments it comes in at 107".

I'm probably screwed then, because I add a considerable bit of height to the frame with the lower frame rails. Like 2 inches. If I bump your 18 up to even just a 19, it goes to the oversize and its $120, trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro.

I ussually just give an estimate.I tell the buyers that I will get an exact shipping total once the auction has ended.I tell them I only charge what the shipper tells me.Never a handling fee. This way when the frame arrives from the Post Office. They see the actual price on the package.Plus anyone who is a true ebay buyer knows what shipping is like.It isnt cheap. And if you dont charge a handling fee. That makes it a little nicer in theend.Just the way I sell big parts on evil-bay!!! :beer

On turbo lister, it wont allow me to do that Mike...How are you making that work? It only allows me to do flat rate, calculated, local pickup. Thats it :(

I had a quote from UPS to ship a 200x frame from Indy to New York for $65. The main thing I hate about ebay is shipping.

Yeah. It lets you make all your ebay ads and stuff from your computer in a thing similar to a word processor, and then you upload them to ebay when your done. It lets you save the auctions, keep track of ended ones, etc. I find it a lot easier and better to use then just th ebay website to make a listing.

Never heard of it??I am not sure how you would get around the shipping calculator then???Unless you put something in the description.

47x18 x12 is jenius, weight doesnt affect it until 60+ pounds. I am going to ship a roller 250r in 3 pieces with this very footprint for half of the price of 1 shipment according to their shipping calculator!!!!!!!
