"You are bidding on a mint condition 1985 250R, THE reason why they are no longer sold new. I purchased this machine as part of a package that included numerous 3 wheelers and a bunch of parts. The individual that I purchased the bike from stated that he did not ride the bike much because the power made it uncontrollable. I THOUGHT HE WAS EXAGGERATING. Not so, this was a very experienced rider just stating the facts. I have either owned or ridden close to 50 machines including CR's, RM's, YZ's, Raptors, CBR's, FJ's, R1's, BMW's, Busa's, Triumphs, and custom H-D's. I am not too proud to admit that this is the most incredible 0-50 mph machine I have ever sat on and it performs beyond my skill level. If you have the STONES this thing is 100% suicide and should be on a poster for Organ Donors. "

Tha guy sounds a bit off. The funniest ad I saw locally was a guy who posted "SEX SEX SEX.....now that got your attention I need skis for my skidoo" which followed by his number.. That R in the ad looked really clean but 3500 bucks??????

I agree beautiful bike but I can't believe it brought that much either.

I am in no way an experienced rider. I also have not ridden some of the bikes he quoted. I am a bit suprised that the atc was 'the most incredible ride up to 50mph.' I can understand from a stability standpoint...but faster than a busa? I know it is a blast..but that statement caught me by surprise. Maybe one of the more experienced riders here could elaborate. I guess it may hook up better (pavement)..then lose after 50mph..like the this-that of the atv vs harley thread.

Oh that's the other two machines huh. I'm glad to see he put an oem seat cover on the R before reselling it.
