I want to pick up a check protector, where should I look? I want something cheap and fits ok. I won’t be using it a ton but need one incase I can make it to a few races this year. Any suggestions? I am 6’-3” and 180# so I am thinking an adult large would do.

look into sixsixone fox.. they have light weight ones like mine,, really flexable and dont hinder movement..mainly for roost deflection, not crashing

This might be just me, but I wouldn't buy anything other than the hard plastic chest protectors. You get a handlebar or a footpeg to the chest and they are the only thing thats going to even slightly help.

I just got one last month from Rocky Mountain. Its an AXO that is on closeout.
I thinks its decent, I have tried it on but haven't riden with it on yet. Its only $60.

They actually have a bunch in the closeout section, in apparel-protective.
