That is probably what I started out with, maybe mine was even a little worse! LOL I owe Blue27 an arm and a leg for helping me with mine. Alot of the parts are off the shelf aftermarket parts and still readily available. The fenders are all being reproduced in fiberglass now and for sale very inexpensively I might add, thanks blue. All the "Tiger" parts appear to be there so unless you have to have a 100% restore, it will be pretty easy to bring that Tiger back to where mine is. Engine internals are still available, not cheap, but available. For a better build, you won't want to use a Wiseco piston. The rubber parts on the trike can still be found. Bearings are easy enough. Swingarm bushings are available thanks to a board member. Seatbases are either aluminum or the ABS plastic and the seat covers are either Hi Flite 200x or aftermarket 200x. The tank is probably the only part not being reproduced on the trike, and it's probably not out of the question if it had to be done. The 200cc engine is the same as the 250, just sleeved down to size. The pipes can still be gotten from Jemco. They are a quite doable trike and you will pretty much have an 80% correct trike except for the fenders and the tires.

Did anyone here get this? I swear I emailed the guy 20 times as soon as the ad came out. He never did respond! Maybe the ad is a hoax? Just a month ago he wanted 2,000 for the trike.

It would have been curtious of the seller to let others know it had a deposit.And if the sale fell threw he could have offered it up to another person.I TRULY HATE CRAIGSLIST!!! No consideration what so ever!!!

I see a lot of this on Michigan Craigslist. From what I know of the residents, it makes sense- a lot of "show offs". Lots of people take the time to edit their ad just to show that they sold their stuff by typing "gone" or "sold" instead of just pressing the delete button.

Or maybe they leave the ad up so their cell phone rings more so they seem more popular even though the person at the other end is annoyed that they just wasted their time.

I did email the person earlier today. I asked the status of the machine. He initially emailed me 4/9/09. I haven't heard anything back yet. I thought the price drop was pretty big myself. For 1000.00 I would have made it work. I only need an extra front end.... wheel/ hub /forks for the tiger. 2k was out of the question. If anyone comes across TIGER front end parts I'm your man $$$$$ or trade for other tiger goodies.
