Aright guys here's your basic "which and why" poll question! IMHO Popeye's is the best fried chicken joint. I mean c'mon, Cajun rice, season fries, corn bread... how's the Colonel gonna top that? Note: this is more about the fast food variety of fried chicken joints.

The best here are the small home owned take outs. Theres one here called Earine Greens and it is delicous. They sell deep fried mars bars too. Great stuff.

I have a friend who managed the Popeye's here before they closed it. I liked the red beans and rice.

True story... My wife's Grandmother dated Colonel Sanders back in her youth. They grew up together in Corbin, Ky. where the original KFC still stands and operates today.

Today I got some free chicken dinner coupons from a lady at work. She said something about getting them from the Oprah show.

Pretty much the only other option besides KFC is Boston Market around here near me. The chicken isn't fried but, it's pretty damn good if you ask me:naughty:

Anyone ever watch Blue Collar Comedy Tour? I laughed my ass off when Larry the Cable Guy shared what he thought about hooters... :)

(They have decent wingies, and I think it's probably fun to go for the entertainment value, LoL.....)

Well, it depends on what the chicken comes with. I like church's though there is a new popeyes about 1/2 way there. Kfc chicken is waaaay to dry but their coleslaw rocks!! So, I get the coleslaw at kfc, drive past popeye's on the way to church's to score the juicy meat with a side of delicious peppered pickle sauce.<--say that 3 times real fast.

Just one problem with the coleslaw....Its too damn small (even for the "large"). I wish it came in the bucket tubs instead.
