I think he's alittle confused about the cylinder. Its more like a 82-83 kx cylinder. I believe in 84-89 the kx motor was powervalved and was very close to the 86-88 tecate 3/4. The 86/87 tecate 3 was the same cases as the kx, the early year 3's were the same cases as the earlier kx model.

It looks like a Tecate cylender to me. What are you basing that on?
Or do the Tecate cylenders have the bridged exhaust port?

That seller knows his chit. He has been selling rare parts for well over a year now and I'm thinking he had to be a serious racer at some point.....
