More complaining about dirt bike and ATV riders in MA. Check out the "Reader Comments". Keep in mine this is the Boston Globe. Readers tend to lean to the left.

Good gawd, they make ATV riders out to be domestic terrorists! Pathetic.

Just like gun control:

Environmental officers in Falmouth helped draft proposed legislation to tighten restrictions on ATVs

Get that legislation moving while everyone is pissed off at ATV riders. Problem is these idiots are already breaking the law. What sort of new law is going to stop these guys?

More rules to hurt the law abiding riders. Shame.

It's been like that my whole life. They come after you wherever you go in this state. It's just second nature to drop the hammer when the boys in blue show up. Sometimes you come across a nice cop who doesn't give you a hard time, but it just isn't worth it to risk going over to them when they wave you over.

I was talking to a buddy of mine that has a cousin that is an EPA cop. The guys that drive the green trucks. He was saying if you bolt they will chase you. But that most times if your not causeing trouble theyjust want to check you out

I ride in bellingham franklin area, haven't had a problem in 15 years, Hell I can get out to pittsfield from my house, takes about 6 -7 hours but its damn fun. Old RR tracks, Hi-T's and trails. As long as your not being a jerk, no one bothers you. Hell - some people actually let you cut through there yards without a problem.

one of the comments is about why not make electric qauds and dirtbikes, but what they dont get is that the noise is 1/2 of the problem, the other is people riding atv's and dirt bikes in the first place. one of the comments wishes that they would stop and go to there basement and just go smoke...
