kawi 300 bayou manual

does anyone have a download for a manual for a 80's something Kawasaki bayou 300 4x4? and how fast are they because this one seems awfully slow:rolleyes:

They are really slow, I have a 86 bayou 300 2wd and it is slow. We upgraded the carb to a honda 350 rancher carb and we ditched the spark arrestor and put 25 inch tire in the rear and 24 inch tire in the front. It works, but still is freaking slow..

kinda figured it was just slow, were going over it for a guy and dad couldn't touch me when i was on the big red. how does yours handle?, this one seems to dive to one side with just a little turn, but were its full time 4 wheel drive it may be making it steer bad.

lol, mine feels like it is going to tip, but it never has and I don't think it will. And what was funny is that I have tried to make it get on 2 wheels and it won't, even topped out. However, this bike wieghs about 500lbs so keep that in mind. As for it shooting to the left or right it has to do with the 4x4...I think.

Watch for bad impeller shafts and bearings/seals on them, Just from experiencing i found they got pretty soft seats in the head, cause's the lash to tighten up quick, and run like trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro or none at all.

ours has a recent rebuild, and we just changed the fluid in the rear differential, so is there anything else this slug has problems with? Nvm the crappy shocks. Also they do not like cold weather.
