I am looking to modify a big red for deep mud ridding, to do this will need to lift and extend the frame. I get the lift part but the machine will look weird with 30 inch tires slammed under it. For that I purpose extending the swingarm about 8 to 12 inches.
Does this sound feasible to you guys? would adding length to the swinger give me any extra height (after modifying the shock mounts) ? I have searched far and wide for an example to work off of but no one lifts trikes, so im on my own here. As you can tell Im not a mechanic genius like most of the guys modding trikes but I love the sport so I am trying to inject a little flare into it. Thanks for any comments or directions for the project :)
