wanna know what's crazy...hyper milers using hybrids have gotten nearly 2000 miles per gallon...

now that's some serious mileage.

you're right...it was 2000 miles on a tank. my memory failed me on that one.

makes me think back to the 100mpg carb someone made back in the day....some rich dude bought the rights and buried the idea.

well, just remember this. there is only X energy in a gallon of gasoline, and it takes Y amount of energy to move a car a mile. there is only so good of mileage a vehicle can get before it becomes physically impossible to go any farther.

but also remember that over 75% of the energy goes straight out of your tailpipe

there are limits...but trust me we aren't no where near em

Read a little bit, and you can see how they DID do it.

lawnmower carburetor
2 speed chain drive.

It also says the car won't run in stop and go traffic, or go up grades. Most of the car is aluminum, and it was built to set the record, and it did.
