I have an 86r in the basement that I am plannin to do the same. just havent decided if i am making my own swingarm or will try to locate an old missle kit

The Missile Kits are still available new, they aren't rare... Talked to the owner a year or so ago. Below is the link to one of the original Missile Kit threads from a while ago. Look on page two for my post, I attached some of the original kit photos from back in the day:

Yes they are still available brand new. If you go to the link below all of his contact information is listed in post #3 by Aussieduner. John is a great guy and wonderful to deal with. He still makes the kits but doesn't advertise them for reasons I still don't understand? Especially with how easy it is to use the Internet for promotional purposes?

I wrote this seller. he is making kits. I asked if it is single chain vs the missle type with the countershaft. his kit uses one chain, no countershaft. here is his setup

geeeeze don't get so pissy,,, its a bolt on kit,,your not destroying anything,, you can have the best of both worlds,,, i hope i can have one someday!!! :D :D :D

Like Kasey said they are simple bolt on kits, it's not like the old weld on 4 wheel conversion kits that use to be available. It can be put back to a trike in about an hour the way it's designed. Very simple with no permanent modifications but regardless, it will always come back to personal preference? To each his own...
