View Full Version : Need help identifying a Yamaha youth quad

I'm going to look at a Yamaha Moto 4 youth quad. This is one of those that has the truck front plastic? Any idea on the year, model, or engine size? The guy said it's a 50, but I thought these were 80cc.

1986 Yamaha 4-Zinger YF60. Its a 60cc 2 stroke. Tri-Zinger with an extra front wheel.. and a hood. :lol:

After I looked it over, I found it was a 60cc 2-stroke, then I came home and looked, and found exactly what you said. I ran the VIN, and it is a 1986. His bottom dollar was $275 with 4 brand new tires, and it ran well. It only needed the rear brake shoes. How fast do they go? What type of transmission is it? It didn't have any gear shifter. It was like a CVT. Are they reliable quads?
