Removing oil pump 87 LT80

I'm removing the oil pump on my 87 LT80, it is leaking oil into the carb and gooping it up. I have to remove the left hand case and remove the black plastic gear that turns the oil pump. My question is if the left hand side of the motor has tranny oil in it or not? How much? and what kind? You are right.. I do need a manual.. and I'm working on that. If you know. help a brother out. :Bounce The airbox inlet off the carb had a hole in it. I'm replacing that the reeds and the gaskets. I've cleaned the carb.. going to remove the pump and mix it myself at 32:1.

I've been on over there and know what to do to remove it. I just didn't know about the fluid. MonroeMike sent me a manual pdf, so I got that figured out.
